The Key to Global Success
The workshop was conducted by Ms Jill Sheldekar,
Intercultural Trainer and Director of Ethnosynth
Consulting. The workshop included a panel discussion in
which the panel members shared their experiences
about dealing with citizens of other countries and inputs
about the cultural aspects in global business context. Mr.
Ajay Mehta-Vice President, MCCIA, Mr. Anant
Sardeshmukh-Director General, MCCIA, Mr. Bart
Vanoverbecke, Managing Director of TCR-GIVI India, Ms.
Barbara Pauels, and Ms. Jill Sheldekar were the panelist.

Opportunities in Current Scenario
Mr. Arun Sehgal, Chairman-Chempro Group made a
presentation on this topic and urged the business
community to explore non traditional markets for
business promotion in addition to the present ones. His
presentation was a part of the event to promote
International Business Development Form INDIALLIA
2012.
Interactive session with officials from National
Petrochemical Company of Iran
A delegation from the National Petrochemical Company
of Iran visited MCCIA to understand the strengths of our
region and explore possibilities of promoting business
exchanges in selected areas dependent on Petrochem
(such as Engineering, Polymers and other areas). This
visit was part of the UNIDO initiative to promote
business exchanges for various sectors. Delegation from
Iran National Petrochemical Co. (NPC) included Mr.
Mohammad Ziar- DG of Petrochemical Down-Stream
Industries, Mr. Hamid Ajami - Advisor of Development
and Planning of NPC and Mr. Vahid Kiani - Manager of
Infrastructure Affairs and Iran Plast Fair.
Seminar on Doing Business and Investing in Australia -
Focus Sectors Automotive and Education
The Australian Trade Commission in partnership with
Gujarat NRE, University of Wollongong's Innovation
Campus with the support of MCCIA organized this
seminar. The seminar provided an overview of the
business and investment climate in Australia, showcased
Australia as a leader in innovation and featured
participation of a successful Indian investor in Australia.

Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and

Bilateral Trade. This session provided an useful insight
into the prospects and challenges ahead for Indo-US
trade and economic relations.
Special seminar on How the German PE Investors are
looking to Internationalise their Portfolio Companies
This seminar provided a deep insight to the participants,
about the perspective of German Investors in supporting
international business of German companies. Mr. Marko
Maschek from Pinova Capita and Mr. Ajay Mehta–Vice
President and Chairman-International Business and
Relations Committee, MCCIA addressed the participants
on the occasion.
