Special executive briefing session : Amsterdam
Metropolitan Area, European Business Hub for ICT

A high level delegation from Amsterdam, led by
Honorable Mr. Eberhard van der Laan, Mayor of
Amsterdam came to Pune. The purpose of the event was
to provide a more detailed insight into the advantages of
the regulatory and business environment in Amsterdam
and the Netherlands. This event was organised by
Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency and supported
by Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and
Agriculture.
We organized a session to present prospective careers
in ITES sector for the student community and their
parents, to encourage them to choose ITES sector from a
wide range of career options such as Banking, Finance,
eGovernance, Telecom, Testing, healthcare etc.

Presentation on Pune : Still the Best Investment
Destination
This presentation was organized jointly with Khed
Economic Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. The seminar
highlighted the huge investment opportunities for
potential investors. 50 participants attended the
program.
Seminar on Opportunities and Challenges in Slum
Rehabilitation Projects
This seminar was organized to create awareness about
the new Slum Rehabilitation Policy of the Government.
Mr. Sachin Ahir, Minister of Housing, Government of
Maharashtra, was the Chief Guest for the seminar
wherein 79 people participated and interacted with the
Minister and Slum Rehabilitation Authority officials.

1. Representation was submitted to Mr. S. D. Landge,
Director- Town Planning, Government of
Maharashtra, Pune regarding Amendment in the MR.
TP 1966.
2. Representation was submitted to Shri Balasaheb
Thorat, Honorable Minister for Revenue and Khar
Land, Government of Maharashtra regarding B. T. and
A. L. section 63 Restriction, Permission for purchase
of land, Transfer of Industrial Land and Concessional
Stamp Duty for Industrial Land.
3. Representation was submitted to Shri Prithviraj
Chavan, Honorable Chief Minister Government of
Maharashtra regarding need of additional FSI for
Industries in Agriculture Zone and in Municipal Limits.
4. Representation was submitted to Shri Chagan
Bhujbal, Honorable Minister for Public Works,
Government of Maharashtra, regarding Need of Smart
Card system at Toll Collection Centers / Toll Plazas on
State and National Highways.
5. Representation was submitted to Shri Hassan
Mushrif, Honorable Minister for Labour and Special
Assistance, Government of Maharashtra, regarding
Need of Capacity Building and Training of Labour.
