Harness Buckle Location<br />
Confirm location of harness buckle is correct, to<br />
insure proper harness fit:<br />
1. Properly secure child in restraint (see page 32).<br />
2. Check for correct position of harness buckle:<br />
Harness buckle can be directly above its buckle<br />
slot. (Fig. A)<br />
Harness buckle can be forward of its buckle slot.<br />
(Fig. B)<br />
3. If harness buckle strap angles sharply back<br />
towards child (Fig. C), move buckle to a rear<br />
buckle location. (See below)<br />
Harness Buckle Removal and<br />
Installation<br />
Installing harness buckle:<br />
1. Locate correct harness buckle slot.<br />
2. Hold buckle strap metal<br />
retainer vertically and then<br />
rotate it slightly to slide it<br />
completely through slot in<br />
restraint bottom. (Fig. 1)<br />
3. Firmly pull buckle upward<br />
to confirm it is secured by<br />
restraint bottom.<br />
4. Confirm buckle release button faces towards front<br />
of restraint and buckle strap is not twisted.<br />
