3.1. Characterization of Biosorbents<br />
3.1.1. SEM Results<br />
In a typical SEM analysis, the samples were introduced as powders fixed<br />
onto metal disks and then exposed to the electron beam. As seen from the<br />
micrographs given in Figure 3.1, the algae used in this study possess different<br />
textures and unit sizes.<br />
