AIRPORT<br />
The site was formerly Connors Park Racecourse. An airport was<br />
proposed by Messrs. Fraser and Donovan in 1929, and licensed in<br />
July 1930 to Rockhaapton Aerial Services. It was acquired by Rock-<br />
hampton City Council- in 1914 and leased until 1941 - MB, 15 Apr.<br />
