DIMPLE sets a new standard for client/server<br />
Asset & Maintenance Management systems with<br />
an easy to use GUI interface. The front end<br />
client application is a true cross platform product<br />
which can be operated concurrently on any<br />
combination of Windows 95/98/XP or Windows<br />
NT/2000 Workstation.<br />
The database may be the native database<br />
supplied for stand alone or multi user operation<br />
on a LAN with small to medium size<br />
installations. For large installations, particularly<br />
when remote access over a WAN is required, an<br />
industry standard SQL back end such as Oracle,<br />
Sybase, SQL Server, or DB2 is recommended.<br />
It comes with a large range of standard reports<br />
together with a report writer which enables users<br />
to develop an unlimited range of customised<br />
reports. Other report writers (such as Crystal<br />
Reports) can be used for report interfacing. Wi t h<br />
an SQL back end relational database such as<br />
