Chapter 2 Campus <strong>QoS</strong> <strong>Design</strong><br />

The Catalyst 6500 IOS show queueing interface verification command displays the queuing parameters<br />

for a given interface (according to the linecard’s capabilities).<br />

In the example below, the linecard has 2Q2T transmit queuing. The WRR scheduling weights are set to<br />

30:70 to service Q1 and Q2, respectively. The transmit queue size ratios have been allocated 30% for Q1<br />

and 70 percent for Q2. The first queue’s tail-drop thresholds are set to 40% and 100%, while the second<br />

queue’s tail-drop thresholds are set to 80% and 100%. CoS 1 is assigned to Q1T1; CoS 0 is assigned to<br />

Q1T2; CoS values 2,3,4,6 and 7 are assigned to Q2T1 and CoS 5 is assigned to Q2T2.<br />
