The aim of the <strong>Land</strong> Use Leadership Committee is to exert leadership in addressing Southern California’s urban land use<br />
policy issues in order to benefit our cities, create thriving communities and improve our quality of life. The committee explored<br />
development reform, infrastructure needs, sustainability, transportation, preservation, housing, among others. The committee<br />
serves as a resource for numerous public and private agencies, including: the City of <strong>Los</strong><br />
<strong>Angeles</strong> Planning Department, CRA/LA, County of <strong>Los</strong> <strong>Angeles</strong>, Housing Authority of the City<br />
of <strong>Los</strong> <strong>Angeles</strong>, LAEDC, and others.<br />
SB375 Impact Analysis <strong>Report</strong><br />
Along with <strong>ULI</strong>’s other four California District Councils, <strong>ULI</strong> <strong>Los</strong> <strong>Angeles</strong> assisted in<br />
producing a report on the potential economic benefits of Senate Bill 375, California’s smart<br />
growth bill. The report, authored by AECOM, was the result of an extensive literature survey<br />
and two days of deliberations by a 16-person member expert panel, including <strong>Los</strong> <strong>Angeles</strong><br />
leaders Renata Simril, Jones Lang LaSalle, Mitch Menzer, Paul Hastings, LLP, and Michael K.<br />
