Exchange losses include the effects from the measurement of monetary items as of
the closing or transaction date. The corresponding exchange gains are shown in other
operating income.
Other operating expenses decreased in the past financial year by € 35.3 million to
€ 414.6 million. The decrease is mainly caused by unrealized expenses from the valuation
of financial instruments as of the reporting date that were included here in the
previous year.
