Other operating income
Other operating income comprises the following:

Of the other operating income, € 26.0 million (previous year: €12.1 million) is attributed
to earlier financial years.
The exchange gains include the effects from the measurement of monetary items as of
the closing or transaction date. The corresponding exchange losses are shown in other
operating expenses.
The other operating income increased by € 53.2 million to €152.0 million. The significant
causes of this are unrealized income from the valuation of financial instruments for risk
hedging of foreign currency transactions.
