Sun Baoshu (孙宝树)
Appointed as vice-minister of labor and social security.
Sun Baoshu, born in 1950, is a native of Ningjin, Shandong
Province. Educational background: research fellow at the Central
Party School. He is a member of the Central Commission for
Discipline Inspection. Sun served as vice-chairman of the All-China
Federation of Trade Unions (since January 2002) and as secretary
of its Secretariat.

Sun Jiazheng (孙家正)
Minister of Culture Sun Jiazheng was appointed deputy head of the
National Leading Group for Cultural Heritage Protection and director
of its General Office in April 2006. (ChiDir, p. 158) Sun is a member

Everbright Holdings Company Limited as its major shareholder, the

Securities Company Limited, Shenyin & Wanguo Securities
Company Limited and China Everbright Limited. Prior to joining the
China Everbright Group, he was the vice-chairman and governor of
Bank of Communications in China and the chairman of China Pacific
Insurance Company Limited. He had also been appointed as the
vice-mayor of Wuhan City. Mr. Wang holds a Master’s degree in
Economics from Zhongnan University of Finance and Economics.
He is also the instructor of the Graduate Department of the People’s
Bank of China and the professor of Shanghai University of Finance
and Economics. Mr. Wang has extensive knowledge and experience
in banking, securities, insurance and business administration. He
joined the Board in June 2000.
