Explanation Type SP Type SP consists of bars of full height in the bearing direction (known as bearing bars), and bars with a lower height at right angles to these bearing bars (known as filler and control bars). This design ensures a strong and light structure. Type "SP" Control bar Filler bar Span Bearing bar Type N Type “N” consists of bars of full height in both directions. The advantage of type “N” is that the grating has the same appearance on both sides. Type “N” has the same strength as type “SP” providing that it is installed correctly (broken bearing bars on top) Type "N" Span Type NP Type “NP” is a hybrid of both “SP” and “N”. Comprising full height bearing bars in one direction and uniform reduced height bars in the other. Providing a more aesthetic appearance than “SP” which is less expensive than “N”.
