The fission rates of Gd rods at the BOL increase by 1.1% and 1.5% in MOX and UO2<br />

fuel assemblies, respectively.<br />

5 Conclusion<br />

Following conclusions were obtained through the SRAC burnup calculation using the<br />

JENDL-3.3 original and modified library corresponding to the new measurement of 157Gd by<br />

Leinweber et al.<br />

The correction factors for 157Gd capture cross sections for SRAC calculations are
