<strong>TRIBUTE</strong> TO TUNKU <strong>ABDUL</strong> RAHMAN<br />
policy through which each international issue is considered on<br />
its individual merits in the light of how it affects Malaya, her<br />
friends and her neighbours. There is no blind anti-Communist<br />
front nor an avid pro-Western approach. Malaya is not<br />
committed to pre-judge individual issues by a bloc stand.<br />
She has condemned the Chinese in Tibet, the French in Algeria,<br />
the Russians in Hungary, and the Americans in Lebanon.<br />
The foreign policy is therefore Malaya orientated. The stability<br />
of the Government has received recognition throughout the<br />
world, created a favourable climate for investment and allowed<br />
the population to reach the highest standard of living in<br />
South East Asia. Such are the benefits which the country<br />
has reached under the leadership of the Tunku.<br />
