This interactive panel, which looks at the causes and consequences of youth<br />
unemployment, will give young people the chance to speak directly with policymakers<br />
about the challenges they face in terms of unemployment and how this<br />
affects their lives. Youth unemployment affects young people in developed and<br />
developing countries alike. The youth urge the EU to make youth unemployment<br />
a priority in their development policies. Panellists will be questioned by youth<br />
about what they think needs to be done to respond to this challenge and how<br />
to ensure young people are learning the skills needed for the job market.<br />
