Mobile technologies and services can impulse a great change in making daily<br />
lives easier. They bring added value to users and make a decisive contribution<br />
to inclusive growth, by widening access to new resources, generating savings<br />
and empowering people. This project lab will be an opportunity to illustrate,<br />
with concrete examples from different countries, how mobile applications can<br />
impact agriculture and rural development, access to health services and use<br />
of financial applications. The session will give an overview of new public-private<br />
business models, key technologies and trends, and will identify success factors<br />
for turning Information and Communication Technologies into a development<br />
enabler.<br />
