The human bond with nature. Our attraction to nature is genetically determined,<br />

but culture determines how we express this interest.<br />

<strong><strong>Zoo</strong>s</strong> are one form <strong>of</strong> this expression<br />

Visitors’ experience results from the interaction <strong>of</strong>:<br />

· Context: Features around and in the exhibit perceived consciously and<br />

unconsciously<br />

· Context: information and concepts which zoo educators want to convey.<br />

· Message: Subjective mosaic <strong>of</strong> information and emotion which the zoo<br />
