• This Centre should be in the form <strong>of</strong> an education hall, located near the<br />
entrance, inside the Night Safari. Inside this hall, life-size models <strong>of</strong> animals<br />
(fibre glass/POP) and paintings with relevant information <strong>of</strong> the spp., should<br />
be exhibited to enable the visitor to have touch-like look.<br />
• Audio-visual facility for showing video films on wildlife and nature<br />
conservation and also for talks/lectures on related subjects, should be<br />
provided.<br />
• Digital touch screen facilities for disseminating knowledge regarding<br />
animals/birds, exhibited inside the safari should be provided. Themes like<br />
animal adaptations, behaviour, reproduction, nutrition, food habits and<br />
complex subjects like evolution and ecology, food chain, conservation issues<br />
should also be explained in the centre show models and charts<br />
• Photographs/painting <strong>of</strong> animals/birds<br />
• Audio visual aids for showing wildlife films<br />
• Scheduled talks, lectures, workshops etc.<br />

• Map/s <strong>of</strong> the Night Safari<br />
• Directional boards<br />
• Interpretive boards giving scientific information <strong>of</strong> each spp., fixed near the<br />
exhibit, boards spelling out the Do’s & Don’ts, boards indicating public<br />
facilities like toilets, water taps, restaurants, kiosks, tram/riding stations and<br />
parking etc. The signages should be prepared with the help <strong>of</strong><br />
Communications Interpretive firm, to make them attractive, eco-friendly<br />
and aesthetical. They have to be properly lit to make them readable at night.<br />
Publication and Publicity Material<br />
• Publicity material should be carefully designed by defining its purpose,<br />
choosing the right type <strong>of</strong> format (print or electronic) and eco-friendly<br />
material. The material can be in the form <strong>of</strong> booklets, pamphlets, brochures,<br />
folders, stickers, badges, caps, neck-ties, T-shirts, hand bags, paper bags<br />
and picture post cards etc. In the electronic form it can be CD, DVD and<br />
touch screen monitors etc.<br />
