SALIENT FEATURES
The Zoological Park covers an area of 362.1 ha. including the water body of
Kanjia lake spread over 66.1 ha. Out of this, the present coverage of the area for
different purposes are as follows:
• Roads & paths (5.6km + 7.52 km over 4 ha.)
• Animal house including shelter & caves (over 75 ha)
• Residential quarters (5.57 ha) • Lion Safari (20 ha)
• White Tiger safari (12 ha) • Children's park (0.4725 ha)
• Boating station (0.0114 ha)
• Nature trail (Herbivore safari) (36ha)
• View point (0.0093 ha) • Reptile park ( 1 ha)
• Water supply arrangement (0.40 ha)
• Nocturnal animal house (0.03 ha) • Zoo hospital (0.3595 ha)
• Railway line and Station (1.58 km + 0.0206 ha, total over 0.86 ha)
