<strong>of</strong> <strong><strong>Zoo</strong>s</strong><br />

<strong>Master</strong> Plan is a document which outlines the<br />

proposed all round development <strong>of</strong> a zoo for<br />

a reasonably long period <strong>of</strong> about 10 to 20<br />

years. However the factors to be kept in mind<br />

are;<br />

• Space available<br />

• Landscape<br />

• Funding support<br />

• Expectation <strong>of</strong> Visiting People<br />

<strong>Master</strong> Layout Plan<br />

<strong>Master</strong> Layout Plan is a detailed landscape<br />

map <strong>of</strong> the existing zoo or site, It’s available<br />

facilities and development proposed during<br />

the plan period. This is drawn to appropriate<br />

scale say 1:1000 to 1:5000 with appropriate<br />

contour interval based on landscape indicating all salient features <strong>of</strong> the site. (0.5m to<br />

2.00 mt based on topography)<br />
