4. Parenting<br />
She remembers hearing in one of Baba's video messages that everyone<br />
has the spark of divinity in them. See Family as God.<br />
In one of her meditations in the month of January, Baba had led her to<br />
a specific chapter in His book 'Tender Saplings' where she received a<br />
comprehensive answer to parenting related question where she had<br />
asked Baba give her the ability to see/to know whatever these kids were<br />
up to when they were out of sight, that way she could make sure that<br />
they were not going against her teachings. The book read "Have<br />
compassion to save your children from evil and guide them into good<br />
ways, but you need to have faith in their innate Divinity. Point to them<br />
the way to God and goodness. With love teach them duty and discipline.<br />
The minds of children are capable of imbibing good as well as the bad.<br />
Guide them along the good path, teach them the discrimination of right<br />
and wrong, teach them the importance of good company. Do not instruct<br />
or instill in children magnificent ideas and colossal thoughts. Teach them<br />
small, practical ideas and simple modes of behavior through your own<br />
example and loving exposition. Trust that they will absorb your advice."<br />
5. Meditation<br />
Sadguru Sant Keshavadas, in his book 'GAYATRI The best<br />
Meditation' has beautifully defined meditation as: "Meditation is deep<br />
concentration. The yoga of meditation is the spiritual discipline of<br />
concentration on God. Meditation is fathoming the unfathomable until It<br />
reveals Itself. Meditation is focusing the mental and intellectual energy<br />
toward one mantra or one thought power until that mantra reveals its<br />
secret. Meditation is the science of realization and the art of communion<br />
with God. Meditation is the search after the Supreme Reality in the<br />
cavity of heart. Meditation is the devotional offering of oneself to the<br />
Object of Meditation, which is God. Meditation is the struggle of<br />
Individual soul to realize and reach the Universal Soul. Meditation is the<br />
opening of our being for the direct influx of the Divine Light. Meditation<br />
is the discriminative Self-Search. Meditation is the headlong plunge into<br />
the ocean of cosmic consciousness. Meditation is the door to liberation.<br />
