vessels. This jug was possibly made in the Merida regton (Orlramadura) of rourhwerrem
Spam and is of u type that is commonly known as Merida ware or Merida style came

green coloured lend glaze. The glaze drippd down the interior of the jug. Wear marks
on the rim suggests tha it wauld have been covered with u lid. There is evidence of
burning on the base of the vessel, with burnt midw on the interior. The burning
indicares that it may have ut close to an open flume. which nuggeru that he contents of
the jug were meant to he head. The small size of this jug also suggests that it was used
