music Sunday evening (May 1) at the Mainland Assembly of God, New rd.,
Youth Choir Linwood, at 7:30 p.m. The Eastmen were organized in 1960 and have traveled
extensively in the United States singing their unique style of solid gospel music.
Comprising the group are J. R. Damiani, Joe DiQuattro, Johnny Bnttingham,
Jim Payne and Dan Enlow.

Presbyterian missionary,
Colombia, Latin America, will
be the guest speaker at the 7:30
p.m. worship service. Mrs.
Baker serves with her husband
in the Northwest Presbytery of
Colombia. The Bakers are
engaged in intensive
evangelism, and also, assisting
the people in the rural area with
improved methods of
agriculture. The evangelical
Church in this area has one of
the largest percentages of
growth in the world of Latin
America. Mrs. Richard Bolton
will conduct the evening

dinner meeting and anyone

national organization of
American Baptist Women in
carrying out its purpose and
goals, visiting local, areaassociations
and region-state
Baptist women participating in
annual meetings, conferences
and leadership development

"Dodie" Younger and her
husband, George, carried on a
Joint ministry first in the First
Baptist Church of Rochester,
Pa. (1951-55), and later as
commissioned missionaries of
the American Baptist Home
Mission Societies at the
Mariners' Temple Baptist
Church in New York City (1955-
66). While in Rochester she
played aa active role in the
formation of American Baptist
Women in that congregation.
. In 1967 she began working for
a new training program in New
York City, the Women's Talent
Corps, designed to train lowincome
women as
paraprofessionals. From 1972-

the field of human growth and
development in the Human
Services Institute of Kennedy-
King College, one of the City
Colleges of Chicago.
During these years Doris
Anne Younger also did church
school curriculum writing for
"High Call" and "Hearthstone,"
a Children's Day
packet and a parent packet,
"Our Growing Family," for
American Baptists.
She has had a broad range of
experience in teaching,
designing curriculum, ad-
ministration, counseling and
human relations. Since 1965 her
work has been largely with
inner-city adults most of whom
have been women of Black and
Spanish-speaking background
in church, community and
social agency settings.
She attended Yale Divinity
School and received the IJ.D.
degree there in 1950. In 1975 she
was given the Distinguished
Graduate Award, Class of 1950,
them The Divinity School, Yale
University.
The Youngers have four
children:
consecutive Daily Vacation
Bible School, following the
closeof public schools. The two
week school, nursery through
teens, Monday, June 20 through
Friday, July 1, meets at 9:30
a.m. to noon. Bible-centered
studies meet youth needs for
fulfillment and guidance in a
chaotic, valueless society. A
large, dedicated teaching staff
will work person-to-person with
youth.
