indications of an early date are numerous, definite, and all pointing<br />

In Revelation are “plain and very definite<br />

historical allusions.”26<br />

Conclusion<br />

We will show that upon a careful examination of the issues, it is<br />

diilicult to disagree with the convictions that are shared by Farrar,<br />

Stuart, Edmundson, Torrey, and others on this matter. The remainder<br />

of this study will be given to an in-depth consideration of the<br />

internal evidences, seeking to establish those supportive of an early<br />

date (Part III), and critically analyzing and disposing of those major<br />

arguments from the internal evidence that are alleged to militate<br />

against the early date (Part IV).<br />
