Satan’s Imitation Covenant
When Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, they were eating
a communion meal with the devil. This is what Paul says that we
must not do as Christians (1 Corinthians 10). To eat a meal with a
person’s god, the person must be under a covenant. This is why in
many pagan societies, or in satanist cults in Christian societies,
pacts are made between the local demon (or Satan) and the members
of the cult.
Let us examine Satan’s covenant structure:
1. Transcendence/Immanence (presence)
2. Hierarchy/Authority (submission)
3. Anti-Ethics/pro-magic (manipulation)
4. Judgment/Oath (sanctions)
5. Inheritance/Continuity (survival)
Not surprisingly, it is very similar to God’s covenant.
1. Transcendence/Immanence (presence)
The first point is a lie. Satan possesses power, though less
power than he possessed before the death, resurrection, and
ascension of Jesus Christ, and the sending of the Holy Spirit at
Pentecost. Satan has never been God. He has never possessed
omnipotence, omniscience, and omnipresence. He possesses
delegated power for limited purposes (Job 1). He knows a great
deal, but he does not know everything. Since Calvary, his head
has been crushed in principle (Genesis 3:15). He is a creature; he
cannot be everywhere at once.
The saints of God have instant access to God through prayer.
That is what the meaning of “saint” is: the person who has access
to the wznctua~. Jesus sits at God’s right hand; the Holy Spirit utters
prayers for us. Satan’s followers have nothing comparable to
this sort of universal direct access to their god, because Satan can
be in only one place at a time.
