Very important
A perfect kitchen starts with precise measurements.
Here’s how you do it
1. Start by measuring your walls and the distances
from corners to doors.
52
2. Measure the width and height of each window
and door, plus their distance from the floor, ceiling
and adjacent walls.
3. Measure anything that sticks out into the room
such as radiators, ventilation shafts and pipes.
Measure and note the position of existing power
outlets and light switches. Note where you would
like new ones to be.
Note the position of your drains and water supply.
If you are planning to relocate these, note their
new positions.
Don’t forget to bring both these measurements
and your IKEA Home Planner login credentials
with you to the store, so that we can give you
any help to plan and design your new kitchen.
Very helpful
