OF THE INCONSTANCIE OF OUR ACTIONS<br />

THOSE which exercise themselves in controuling humane<br />

actions, finde no such let in any one part as to peece<br />

them together and bring them to one same lustre: For<br />

they commonly contradict one another so strangely, as<br />

it seemeth impossible they should be parcels of one<br />

Warehouse. Young Marias is sometimes found to be<br />

the sonne of Mars, and other times the childe of Venus.<br />

Pope Boniface the Eight is reported to have entred into<br />

his charge as a Fox, to have carried himselfe therein as<br />
