Colourful Punjab Circle Conference
A colourful and glorious Punjab Circle Conference
of NFTE BSNL was held from 19th to 20th
May at Bhatinda. Com. C. Singh, GS attended the
delegate session as well as seminar. Earlier, Com.
N.K. Jeet, Chairman Reception Committee welcomed
the guest and dignitaries. Com.
Somprakash Sharma, Secy. Reception with his team
worked day and night to make the conference successful.
Com. Bhagwan Das, former vice president of
BSNLEU, Branch Secy. Mansa and presently local
council member joined NFTE BSNL alongwith 30
members, GS, Com. Singh welcomed them all
whole heartedly.
Shri G.S.Julka, very senior GM in Punjab addressed
the seminar alongwith GS, circle secy. and
others. The subject of seminar was "Precarious condition
of BSNL and our role in its improvement."
Com. Hakim Singh presided the meeting comrades
Amrit Mittal, M.L. Sharma and Nirmal Pal
have been elected as president, circle secy. and
treasurer respectively.
Punjab circle is marching ahead.

All unions Meet held on 23rd May 2012
A meeting of all unions was held on 23rd May,
2012 at T -15 Atul grove and decided as under.
(1) The staff issues viz Bonus, 78.2% IDA
merger, LTC, Encashment of leave etc have to be
focussed and persued for settlement
(2) Financial viability of BSNL has to be ensured
ie ADC, subsidy to BSNL from USO fund etc
be restored.
(3) Repatriation of ITS officers.
Accordingly following programme of action has
been chalked out
(I) 06-06-2012 -Post card campaign
All employees will write letters to PM and Minister
of communications about financial viability of
BSNL.
(II) 27 -06-2012 March to GM/CGM offices
(III) 18-07 -2012 : Dharna
and
19-07-2012
The NFTE BSNL was represented by GS and
secy, Com. Rajpal.
