Requirements and Installation Equipment Requirements Installation Logical Decisions for Windows requires the following equipment and software: ! Windows compatible computer, ! Hard disk drive with at least 10 mb free space, ! CD drive for installing program, TM TM ! Microsoft Windows 2000 , Windows XP , Windows TM XP Pro, or later. ! A valid license key provided by Logical Decisions MS Office 2003 or later is recommended for export to Word or Excel. Installing Logical Decisions for Windows 95 is easy. Just put the Logical Decisions CD into your computer=s CD ROM drive. Then start Windows and select the File::Run option in the program manager. Type the command D:Setup and press Enter. You may have to change this command slightly if your CD ROM drive is not the "D:" drive. This will start LDW's automatic installation process. The Setup program will prompt you for the name of the directory where the program files will be installed. We recommend that you accept the default directory name of "C:\Program Files\Logical Decisions\Logical Decisions v6.0". After you select a directory, the Install program will copy all of the files on the distribution disk(s) to the directory you selected. Note that the files on the distribution disks are compressed, so that you can't copy them directly to the hard disk and be able to run the program. After the Setup program has completed copying the files, it will create a new program group called Section 2 -- Installation 2-1
