PROGRAMS FOR FIRST TIME HOMEBUYERS
The Community Development Commission (CDC) helps to strengthen
neighborhoods and empower families by assisting low and moderate income families
and individuals who are attempting to purchase their
first home. For first time homebuyers, the CDC offers
financial assistance with down payment assistance
loans including closing cost assistance, federal
income tax credits, and below market rate loan
programs.
The CDC also participates in various events
throughout Los Angeles County during the year

HOME IMPROVEMENT GRANTS AND LOANS AVAILABLE
BUSINESS LOAN PROGRAMS

Grants and low-interest deferred loans are available to
qualified residents for home improvements such as
plumbing, electrical, roofing, painting, and handicap
access. Each program has its own income eligibility
requirement. You may obtain additional information

The CDC offers a variety of low-interest loans for a wide range of businesses, large
and small, commercial to industrial, that may not qualify for conventional financing.
Loans are available to eligible businesses for real estate, equipment, working capital,
and business expansion that create low- and moderate-income jobs. Please call

designed to help residents,

The primary goal of
LACoMAX is to conserve
landfill space by finding
alternatives to the disposal
of valuable materials, which
are presently discarded as
waste. Among the items
you can donate, purchase,
