People who use angle grinders every day are only
too familiar with equipment vibration and in many
aspects aware of its effect on health. EU directive
2002/44/EC, June 25, 2002, specifi cally addresses
workers exposure to hand-arm vibration. It sets exposure
limits to help protect workers and aids employers
to take measures to help reduce workers exposure.
In addition to the Metabo VibraTech system
Metabo now uses autobalancing technology to help
reduce the level of vibration users can be exposed
to. From compact models
up to 150 mm,
we now have the
widest range of lowvibration
angle grinders
on the market.
The autobalancer is
integrated on the angle
grinder spindle, where
it replaces the support
fl ange.

Due to the use of high quality, high performance components,

known for their low vibration. Now with the introduction
of our autobalancing system our grinders with a
wheel diameter of up to 150 mm have the lowest vibration
on the market; even lower than the exposure limit
of 5 m/s²*! Under normal working conditions, this low
vibration level allows you to use Metabo angle grinders
