healthy—now all from a single easy-to-use unified console.
• Discover, organize, and manage all Intel® Servers in the network
• Manages Windows*, Linux*, and agentless (out-of-band) using a single discovery sweep
• Power on, off, or reset any of the systems either individually or as a group
• See overall health and asset inventory for each system from a single view
• Launch Intel® Active System Console or Intel® Remote Management Module for
detailed information
• Full reporting and alerting capabilities
• Snapshot comparison of multiple systems to see how the configuration is different

SYMANTEC* BACKUP ExEC* 2010 SOfTWARE
Available for purchase from Intel® Authorized Distributors in North America, the addition of
Symantec* Backup Exec* expands Intel’s current software offering to its channel partners as
part of the Intel® Enabled Solutions Acceleration Alliance (ESAA) Program.
Symantec Backup Exec 2010 seamlessly integrates virtual machine protection, deduplication,
and archiving technology to help small and mid-sized businesses reduce their backup windows
and storage consumed without adding complexity to their environment.
The Backup Exec 2010 SKUs offered by Intel include support for Microsoft* Windows*,
Windows* Small Business Server, Microsoft* Exchange, Microsoft* SQL Server*, Microsoft*
Hyper-V*, VMware vSphere*, plus options to add deduplication and/or archiving support.
To accelerate the installation and configuration of these software packages by system builders
on Intel® Server products, the Intel ESAA Program offers pre-tested “recipes” that reduce the
cost of implementation and speed time to market.
Intel channel customers will be able to choose from nine different Backup Exec 2010 SKUs
that have been tested to run on Intel® Server Boards and Intel® Server Systems and come
bundled with one year of Symantec 24x7 Essential support.
