Installing Additional Memory<br />
To install additional memory in your <strong>iBook</strong>, you must:<br />
 Remove the battery and keyboard.<br />
 Install the memory.<br />
 Replace the keyboard and battery.<br />
These tasks are described in the following pages.<br />
Step 1: Removing the Battery and Keyboard<br />
1 Shut down your <strong>iBook</strong>. Disconnect the power adapter, phone cord, and any other<br />
cables connected to the <strong>com</strong>puter to prevent damaging the <strong>com</strong>puter.<br />
2 Turn over the <strong>iBook</strong> and locate the battery latch. Use a coin to turn the latch a quarter<br />
turn clockwise to unlock the battery, and gently remove it.<br />
