A no<strong>de</strong> was removed from the table because data was not received from<br />

the no<strong>de</strong> within the stale-out period. Different <strong>de</strong>vices have different<br />

stale-out times. PSP no<strong>de</strong>s have very short stale-out times (around 10<br />

seconds). Non-PSP no<strong>de</strong>s have longer times (usually several minutes).<br />

No<strong>de</strong> “no<strong>de</strong> address” “<strong>de</strong>vice name” “ASCII name” removed, NV<br />

removed<br />

A no<strong>de</strong> was removed from the association table because the operator<br />

used the “association remove” command.<br />

No<strong>de</strong> “no<strong>de</strong> address” “<strong>de</strong>vice name” “ASCII name” removed,<br />

The no<strong>de</strong> was removed from the association table because another<br />

bridge re<strong>port</strong>ed that it now has the no<strong>de</strong> associated locally. This log is<br />

produced whenever a no<strong>de</strong> handoff occurs.<br />

RARP set new IP address<br />

A RARP server answered a request for an IP address with an address<br />

different from the one currently saved. The currently saved value is<br />

overwritten.<br />

Associated to router “no<strong>de</strong> address”<br />

This log is produced when the unit, configured as a repeater, associates<br />

to its parent no<strong>de</strong>.<br />

SNMP: “command text”<br />

A SNMP management no<strong>de</strong> sent the unit a “set” variable request which<br />

was successfully executed. The “command text” is a similar menu command<br />

that has the same effect as the SNMP request.<br />

SNMP access failure from “community name” “IP address” (no<strong>de</strong><br />

address)<br />

A SNMP management no<strong>de</strong> attempted to access the SNMP agent with an<br />

invalid community name or a name that it was not allowed to use.
