Setting Up the Association Table 10 - 5<br />

n Parent Column: Displays the no<strong>de</strong> ID of the parent to which the<br />

no<strong>de</strong> is associated. In place of a no<strong>de</strong> ID, the column may display<br />

the following:<br />

A blank entry: The no<strong>de</strong> is not associated.<br />

Local: The no<strong>de</strong> is associated to this unit.<br />

Local block: The no<strong>de</strong> has been blocked and will not be allowed to<br />

associate with the local system directly.<br />

Name Column: Displays the no<strong>de</strong> name.<br />

Rdst, Src: Displays the type of multicast filter action that has been<br />

set for Radio (RDst) and Source (Src) packets. A blank means that<br />

the action is forward. See Chapter 11 “Using Filters”.<br />

Displaying the Association Table Summary (Summary)<br />

Use the summary option to view a summary of the number of no<strong>de</strong>s<br />

associated to your unit. When you select the summary option, the Association<br />

Table Summary Display appears:<br />

associated to the Aironet 340 Series Bridge below the current<br />

bridge, on the radio network tree.<br />

Setting the Allowed Number of Child No<strong>de</strong>s (Maximum)<br />

This command <strong>de</strong>termines the maximum number of allowed child no<strong>de</strong>s<br />

that can be associated to the Aironet 340 Series Bridge.
