Using DHCP or BOOTP<br />

Network i<strong>de</strong>ntifiers are entered using the Configuration I<strong>de</strong>nt Menu<br />

<strong>show</strong>n below. To access this menu, select Configuration from the Main<br />

Menu then select I<strong>de</strong>nt from the Configuration Menu.<br />

By <strong>de</strong>fault the unit is configured to attempt to get a DHCP or BOOTP<br />

server to assign it an IP address and optionally set other parts of the<br />

Assigning an IP Address (Inaddr)<br />

Use the inaddr option to establish an IP (Internet Protocol) address for<br />

the Aironet 340 Series Bridge. An IP address must be assigned to the<br />

unit before it can be accessed by either telnet, HTTP, or SNMP.
