Use the timeouts interdigit command to specify the number of seconds the system will wait (after the caller has input the initial digit) for the caller to input a subsequent digit of the dialed digits. The timeouts interdigit timer is activated when the caller inputs a digit and restarted each time the caller inputs another digit until the destination address is identified. If the configured timeout value is exceeded before the destination address is identified, the caller is notified through the appropriate tone and the call is terminated. To disable the timeouts interdigit timer, set the seconds value to 0.
