will learn how to treat wounds, fractures, burns<br />

and other common injuries along with gaining<br />

skills to handle different illnesses. You will<br />

receive information on how to care for common<br />

medical emergencies such as heart attack and<br />

stroke. You will also learn how to handle diabetic<br />

and allergic reactions. This class is intended for<br />

anyone who has a desire, need or requirement to<br />

Follow the BONE Deer Cutting<br />

This class will teach you the basic skills to cut<br />

your own deer. We will show you the proper care<br />

of the deer - do the actual field dressing, skinning,<br />

and cleaning the carcass. Next we will show you<br />

how to cut your deer, from pulling back straps for<br />

chops, to the hind for roasts and jerky and trim for<br />

ground venison and sausage. We will also discuss<br />

cooking methods - identifying what’s better on the<br />

grill and tips on how not to overcook venison to<br />

avoid dry steak. New this year we will show you<br />

where the thyroid glands are and show you how<br />

to avoid them. We will have a road kill deer for<br />

hands-on experience. Included in this class is a<br />

new step by step picture book for quick reference.<br />

We will have some deer cutting supplies<br />

available to buy; everything you need to cut<br />

your own deer. Bring a friend for FREE!<br />

60+ Adults Computer Series<br />

Become a seasoned computer user in just 12 weeks! This<br />

series is geared for persons ages 60+ who have had no or<br />

limited experience with a computer. A new field of study will be<br />

covered every two weeks to help you become a pro when using<br />

a computer. Series will start with basic introduction to PC and<br />

progess to managing your files, and end with internet and email.<br />

computer and provides sufficient practice time. For people<br />

with no computer experience. Fee includes manual.<br />

Use the Internet to find an inexpensive travel package, an<br />

old friend or to talk to your grandkids. Learn the terminology,<br />

how to search for information, and practice sending and<br />

receiving e-mail. We’ll also discuss Internet Service Providers<br />

and the equipment needed to get started. Handouts<br />

provided. Prerequisite: Intro to Windows for 60+ Adults.<br />
