Competition Cheer Tryouts | grades 7-11<br />
Show us what you’ve got and see if you can make the cut for the<br />
ISD 728 Competition Cheer Team! The week will begin with training<br />
and lessons with tryouts at the conclusion. Clinic is Mon-Wed,<br />
tryouts on Thu. Paperwork must be completed prior to start of<br />
activity (bring along the first day) and can be found in the middle<br />
and high school offices or at the Community Education office in<br />
Handke.<br />

NEW! Middle School Danceline Academy<br />
grades 5-9<br />
This is a great opportunity to grow as a dancer and a team. Led<br />
by Dance Team alumni, this academy gives you the opportunity to<br />
work on technique and choreography. Perfect the fundamentals<br />
with designated time each day for leaps and turns and learn<br />
impressive new moves. Let’s DANCE! Bring a snack and bottle of<br />
water each day. Dance attire and tennis shoes required, jazz shoes<br />
recommended.<br />

This program will introduce you to the fundamentals of fencing with<br />
an emphasis on skills such as building concentration and selfdiscipline<br />

NEW! Advanced Fencing | age 6-17<br />
Our advanced fencing class offers instruction, recreation and<br />
competition in the Foil, Epee and Saber weapon while introducing<br />
more advanced concepts. You will learn introductory modules on<br />
electrical scoring used by U.S. Fencing Association Competitions.<br />
Beginning and advanced fencing students of all ages are welcome,<br />
giving participants the opportunity to interact with fencers of all<br />
levels.<br />
