After School Special EdVentures | grades K-5
Stay after school and join us for an afternoon of fun! Parents
should send a note to school informing staff that the student is
staying after school. Lincoln students will wait in front of the Lincoln
office and will be walked to Parker by Community Education staff.
Lincoln parents should pick up their child at Parker. EdVenture Club
families: Special EdVentures are included in your weekly fee.

Home Alone | grades 3-6
Will you be home alone after school or for short periods of time
while your parents are out? Learn what to do in emergency
situations such as severe weather, injuries and strangers at the
door. Plus, have fun coming up with ideas for activities to avoid
boredom when staying home alone.

Babysitting Training | age 11+
New to babysitting or looking to polish your skills? Gain the
knowledge every prepared babysitter should have. Develop safe,
fun and educational activities, focus on preventing accidents, and
learn to care for the needs of various ages of children. Receive a
handbook, resources from various agencies and a certificate of
completion. Bring a lunch.

Firearms Safety | age 12+
To receive a hunting certificate, students must attend all classroom
instruction (no exceptions), pass the MN Firearms Test and
participate in the Saturday range trip. Parents must attend first class
and can register to attend all classes. If space allows, 11-year-olds
may be admitted, but won’t receive their certificate from the DNR
until age 12. Range trip details given in class.
