ECFE MULTI-AGE AND DROP-IN Multi-Age Classes | age birth-kdgn If you’re looking for a class to attend with one or more of your preschool children, try one of the following!! Enjoy the fun and learning in the classroom with children birth to kindergarten. Then, while children enjoy activities together with the early childhood staff, parents meet with the parent educator for parent discussion. Topics may include parenting children at different developmental ages and stages, sibling relationships, development, family activities, managing time and more. Class begins with parent child time. Beach Day | age 2-1/2-kdgn Your child will enjoy an excuse to put on their shades and sandals and pretend they are at the beach! Your child will experience that summer feeling as they play with sand, water, and shells! Ocean books and music will enrich this favorite theme! Be sure and dress like it is summer time! Your child will participate in planting as well as discover signs of spring. We will engage in spring stories and songs as well as enjoy some outside time! Take time out and make a nuts and bolts snack. Construction stories and songs will be included in this fun time together, along with time in the gym for some active play! Learn about farm life and spend some quality time outdoors. See the equipment and hear the rhythm of life from the city. See the rabbits, turkeys, pigs, sheep, and geese; learn why fainting goats faint; walk around the grounds with the donkeys and miniature horses; feel the warm fur of llamas and alpacas that is used for coats and blankets. We will take a hay ride too! Bring your lunch and have a picnic in their beautiful pavilion. Please be on time, the bus will leave promptly at 9:00am. Return time is approximate. You may bring a stroller; it must fit between seats. Registration deadline May 16. Activity areas are geared for children age 6 months to 12 years. There will be 2 hours for you and your child at the Museum and time to eat lunch; bring your lunch in a box or cooler. Check out www.mcm.org to learn more about the exhibits at the Museum. Must bring at least one child Kindergarten age or younger. Please be on time, the bus will leave promptly at 9:00am.
