Are your basic skills in reading, math and writing a little rusty? Do<br />
you need to prepare for training in a different career choice? Are<br />
you wanting to go back to school to further your education? Do you<br />
want to be able to help your child with homework? If you answered<br />
“yes” to any of these questions, then ABE is for you!<br />
Adult Diploma Program<br />
Earn credits to complete your high school diploma! To be eligible,<br />
you must be 18 years of age or older and your class has graduated.<br />
Upon completion of all graduation requirements, you will receive<br />
your high school diploma.<br />
GED Preparation<br />
Increase your potential to pass the GED exam. Take practice tests<br />
to determine what you need to review prior to taking the actual<br />
exam.The GED is a high school equivalency diploma. Prepare online,<br />
1:1help or in a small group setting.<br />
GED Testing Information<br />
• Five exams in the areas of writing skills, social studies, science,<br />
literature and mathematics.<br />
• Nearest testing site is Anoka Tech.<br />
• Call 763-433-4054 for schedule and information.<br />
• The cost is $80 for the entire series of tests; paid at the first<br />
session.<br />
• Testing is open to adults 19 years of age and older. Students<br />
younger than 19 may apply for an age waiver by contacting the<br />
Elk River Learning Lab at 763-241-3400 x5525.<br />
GED-i<br />
Distance Learning: GED-i is an on-line program for GED instruction<br />
and preparation. Want to study for the GED test on-line? Only a<br />
select number of eligible students will have an opportunity to take<br />
part in this on-line program. Interested students must schedule<br />
an intake appointment with an instructor to see if they meet the<br />
eligibility requirements.<br />

AccuPlacer, SAT, ACT got you all tangled up in knots? Unsure of<br />
