method, you will learn how to make soap through demonstration
and participation. Color and scent your own raw soap to take home.

Clay: Hand Building and Wheel-Throwing
Experience the art of working with clay. Start with a tile candle
holder and create a covered container to practice hand building.
You’ll quickly move to throwing on our new wheels including
centering projects, making cylinder vases and bowls (as time
permits). Designed for participants with little or no clay experience.

NEW! Wabasha Street Cave Tour
Take a guided tour of the Wabasha Street Caves and a narrated bus
tour of the Wabasha Street area where you will learn about the sites
of nightclubs, kidnappings and gun battles of the 1930’s gangsters.
Fee include both tours and transportation. Wear comfortable shoes,
bring money for souvenirs and lunch, or a sack lunch as we will be
stopping on the way home for lunch. Trip in partnership with the
H.O.P.E. Program.

international festivals with something for everyone, including
authentic ethnic Cafés, cultural and educational exhibits, ethnic
dance ensembles and musicians, art demonstrations and
international bazaar booths. The group will be greeted by a
representative and given a Festival of Nations bag with souvenirs
and food ticket. Bring extra money for Cafés & Bazaars.
