Charming Cedar Creek
In 1864, Cedarburg, WI was the perfect place to channel the waters
of Cedar Creek to build a stone mill producing woolen goods
for the Union Army. Today, Cedar Creek Settlement has over 30
shops filled with antiques, gifts, art, and more. Here you will
enjoy the historic area and its charming shops and stop for lunch
at Creme & Crepe Cafe for your unique crepe entree and
dessert overlooking Cedar Creek. After lunch, you will tour and
taste at the Cedar Creek Winery. Your final stop on the way
home, is at Mars Cheese Castle for Wisconsin cheeses and
sausage.

Chicago Cubs Baseball
Travel with Munster Parks and Recreation to Wrigley Field to
watch Soriano, Soto, Dempster and the Chicago Cubs compete
against the Miami Marlins. Fee includes game ticket and school
bus transportation. Only one game this year and seats are limited,
so register quickly! We will be sitting in the upper deck reserved
infield, section 516.

Wisconsin. In Kenosha, you
will board a restored streetcar
and enjoy a 2-mi. ride past the
Lake Michigan shoreline, Harbor
Park, two historic districts
and downtown. You will also
tour the new Civil War Museum, lunch at the Boat House Pub &
Eatery, and then ride to East Troy. There you will visit a museum
and take a 10-mi. trip on its historic inter-urban train. During the
ride, you will disembark at the landmark Elegant Farmer to shop
at their Farm Kitchen Bakery and Market featured on TV's Food
Network. The market is known for its apple pie baked in a bag.

Holocaust Museum
& Chicago Botanical Gardens
This new museum is the Midwest memorial and education center
for The Holocaust. At this architectural gem, you will see the
story of the Holocaust from pre-war German life to the ghettos,
camps and eventual liberation and resettlement. Later, you will
enjoy lunch at the landmark Hackney’s Restaurant. Choose
from a special menu including their famous Hackneyburger and
french fried onions as featured on the Food Network! Top the
day off with a visit to the Chicago Botanical Gardens to enjoy the
colorful and tranquil gardens.
