“42nd Street” (Lunch & Show)
Enjoy a lunch catered by The View Restaurant, then head off to
the theater to watch “42nd Street”. Winner of the 1980 Tony
Award for Best New Musical and the 2001 Tony Award for Best
Revival of a Musical; “42nd Street” is the biggest, brightest, boldest,
most sparkling dance musical ever presented on Theatre at
the Center’s stage! It’s a timeless, inspiring Broadway fairy tale
about a stage-struck understudy who becomes an overnight star.
It will set your heart pounding with foot tapping music and a hit
parade of songs: Lullaby of Broadway, We’re In the Money,
Shuffle Off to Buffalo, and the spectacular title number. Find out
what it’s like to float up to musical comedy heaven!

Fit after 50
It's never too late to get fit! A fun half hour of fitness for anyone
who wants to increase energy, reduce joint stiffness and improve
flexibility, strength and balance. You'll get the heart pumping and
blood flowing with each low-impact exercise presented in this
program. All the moves in this program offer alternate positions
to increase or decrease the intensity. We will provide a small pillow,
but participants need to bring two soup cans for light weight
resistance training.You should bring water and a towel.

Ice Cream and Bingo Party
Join us for an afternoon of fun-filled Bingo and a delicious afternoon
treat, ice cream. Bingo will be played like every Thursday,
just accompanied by ice cream sundaes. You will choose vanilla
or chocolate ice cream, caramel, sprinkles and chocolate syrup.
What a great way to cool down for the summer!

“Little Shop of Horrors” (Lunch & Shows)
You will enjoy a catered lunch and show at the Center for Visual
& Performing Arts. In this gleefully gruesome musical spoof of
the 1950’s sci-fi movies, Seymour, a skid row floral assistant, allows
his craving for fame and fortune to seduce him into playing
nursemaid to an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh
blood. The growing plant’s demand for more, more, MORE are
accompanied by witty parodies of sixties music. Between bites,
Audrey II, named after Seymour’s secret love, grows into an illtempered
carnivore who brings down the house singing rhythm
and blues.
