Aboriginal Rainstick Workshop
Legend has it that the rainstick was invented to make rainy
weather. The rainstick is a type of tubular rattle that has been
used by many cultures in various ways throughout the ages. In
this hour-and-a-half workshop, children will create their very own
aboriginal rainstick. Children will have the opportunity to see a
real aboriginal rainstick up-close. Class is limited to 15 students.

Cheer/Pom/Tumble
Learn sideline chants, half-time cheers and
dance routines set to popular music. Pom
participation includes team choreography,
emphasizing line changes, formations and
pom passes.Tumbling is basic non-apparatus
gymnastics, promoting center body coordination
and overall flexibility.

Creative Fingers
This course will have children enjoying painting, drawing, cutting
and pasting. Your young artist will create and explore various art
media and techniques. Each week a famous artist and artistic
style will be introduced to your child. All supplies are included.
Dress young artists appropriately.

Drawing for Kids - Step 2
This is the second of three classes designed for those who have
already taken the Basic Drawing for Kids class. Students will
build upon the basic techniques learned in the first class in order
to compose a subject, control the media and understand the
functions of line, form, symmetry, light and shadow. Class is limited
to 10 students.

Girls Just Want to Have Fun
This class has something for every girl who enjoys dancing. The
well-trained and experienced staff from Susan's School of Dance
will introduce a combination of jazz/hip hop moves, jump rope,
pom and tumbling. Dancers will have the opportunity to participate
on the Entertainment Stage at Centennial Park prior to the
“Movie in the Park” on July 30.

Guitar Lessons
Beginner
Have you been wanting to play guitar and
always thought it was too difficult? This
class will break it down so you will understand
chords, scales, and the theory of
music. You will learn some popular songs
that will impress your friends and family.
