difference between that round and the previous round. Such 50% shall<br />

be retained by the tournament.<br />

v) If a player withdraws from the singles final, and the Tournament<br />

Director so desires, a substitute player will play a best of 3 set exhibition<br />

match against the Tournament winner. The substitute player will receive<br />

all the money defaulted.<br />

vi) A doubles team withdrawing after the first round, or retiring, will<br />

receive loser’s computer points and prize money for the previous round<br />

reached. In addition, the player withdrawing or retiring will not be<br />

allowed to play in any other <strong>ITF</strong> <strong>Pro</strong> <strong>Circuit</strong> tennis event until Monday<br />

of the next tournament week (unless she is still playing in singles).<br />

vii) A player or team who wins a match as a result of a retirement, default,<br />

walkover or no show shall receive prize money and points that the<br />

player or team would have received for winning the match only if they<br />

have previously played and won a match.<br />

viii) If a player or team receives one (1) or more consecutive byes and loses<br />

her/their first match played, the player or team will only receive ranking<br />

points from the round preceding their elimination and the player or team<br />

shall receive prize money for the round reached.<br />

ix) If a player or team receives one (1) or more consecutive byes and<br />

withdraws from her/their first match, no ranking points shall be<br />

awarded, the tournament will not count on her/their record and no prize<br />

money shall be paid out.<br />

f) Amateur Expenses<br />

<strong>ITF</strong> Women’s <strong>Circuit</strong> Tournaments may pay expenses to amateurs who are<br />

eligible to and do compete. Such expenses are limited to the actual and<br />

reasonable expenses of an amateur incurred pursuant to her participation in<br />

the tournament. The payment of expenses cannot be conditioned on the<br />

success of the amateur in the event.<br />

V. AMENDMENT TO THE REGULATIONS<br />

1. ENFORCEMENT OF REGULATIONS<br />

These Regulations shall be binding.<br />

It is the responsibility of the <strong>ITF</strong> Supervisor on site to enforce these<br />

Regulations on behalf of the <strong>ITF</strong>.<br />

2. AMENDMENT OF REGULATIONS<br />

No amendment to these Regulations shall be effective unless adopted by the<br />

<strong>ITF</strong> in accordance with the Rules laid down by the Federation.<br />
