G-<strong>13.mft</strong> totalizer GENERAL INFORMATION<br />
To be able to react as quickly as possible to new false coins and to enable<br />
you to make your individual adjustments, this coin validator can be connected<br />
to a PC programming station, which consists of the configuration and<br />
diagnostics software "WinEMP" (including card reader and licence chip<br />
card) and an <strong>NRI</strong> tester for power supply of the G-13 (cp. also product<br />
accessory pages on the internet (www.nri24.com).<br />
Coins that have not been taken into consideration at the manufacturer’s<br />
company can be programmed in the teach mode directly at the coin validator<br />
by inserting coins and without configuration software.<br />
Models and operating modes<br />
The G-<strong>13.mft</strong> totalizer is available as a top entry or front entry model. The<br />
G-<strong>13.mft</strong> with front entry generally has either a MIDI front plate or a MINI front<br />
plate fitted to the left-hand side of the device (see Chap. 3 "Design"). The<br />
device is, however, also available as a front entry model without front plate.<br />
The device is set by the manufacturer according to customer specifications<br />
to one of the three following operating modes:<br />
• 1-price or 2-price totalizer for setting one or two prices for up to two<br />
products (e.g. ice cream, beverages)<br />
• timer for setting a price for a service over a certain period (e.g.<br />
sunbed)<br />
• TV totalizer for setting the price of a service (e.g. pinball machine,<br />
video games)<br />

Changing the totalizer operating mode<br />
For the Italian market, the G-<strong>13.mft</strong> is also available with another<br />
pin assignment of the machine interface (ECV totalizer) (see section<br />
"Interfaces (pin assignment and connection diagrams)" in Chap. 8<br />
"Technical data").<br />
