Problem
Totalizer
does not
accept coin
Totalizer
accepts
coin but no
credit is
given
Malfunctions can occur in all electronic devices. These do not always have
to be faults in the device. In many cases the reason is improper connections
or incorrect settings. Therefore: please first of all check, whether the
malfunction can simply be remedied using the following table:
Possible causes
No power supply
Return lever/button
pressed/got stuck
Coin runway dirty
Coin inhibited
Price/time DIL
switches set to OFF
Coin does not exit the
device
Remedy, hints
• Connect ribbon cable to totalizer and
machine correctly
• Supply vending maching with voltage
Make sure, that return lever/button is not
inadvertently pressed
Open flight deck and clean coin runway
(see section "Cleaning totalizer" in this
chapter)
• Make sure that (common) inhibit line
(pin 2/pin 6) is not activated by machine
(see section "Interfaces" in Chap. 8
"Technical data")
• Make sure that the coin is not inhibited
using the DIL switches on the rear of the
device or not only the narrow coin channel
is enabled and the normal one is inhibited
(see section "Inhibit coin types" in Chap. 4
"Function and operation")
Set price(s)/timer time (see section "Set the
price(s)/timer time" in Chap. 4 "Function
and operation")
Make sure that the coin outlet is not
jammed by foreign objects or devices
connected to the bottom of the totalizer
