The majority of the information contained in this orientation guide is also
available at our website http://www.astro.ucsc.edu. We hope that you will use
this as a handy, compact packet that you can easily carry around with you. In
case of discrepancies, please contact either Mary Kiegelis or Sissy Madden in the
Astronomy Department Office so that we may make corrections. We hope that
you will find answers to your questions in this guide, and we hope you come here
first to look for them. The first information addressed is a section on what to do
when you first arrive. The guide is then organized from smallest to largest, from
the Department to the University, then the city of Santa Cruz and environs.
